MEINL Galaxy Percussion Instrument

The Meinl Galaxy consists of 2 resonant liquid chambers connected by a long steel spiral. The Galaxy may be played like a classical triangle to generate a whole new vocabulary of percussive sounds. Hold the Meinl Galaxy in one hand, and use a beater held in the other hand strike it. By slightly altering the position of the Galaxy, liquid inside the 2 chambers exerts variable dampening on the thin steel resonator plates, altering the percussion sounds you can produce.
